Shared Master Data
Control which of your master data types are accessible to the child customer. When a type is shared, the child can view and reference its items but cannot modify them.
To configure shared types:
- Navigate to Company → Customers and select the child customer
- In the customer details, find the Allowed Parent RDI Types field
- Search for and select the master data types you want to share (e.g., Country, Currency)
- Save the changes
The selected types and all their items are immediately available to the child customer as read-only data.
Permissions
Modifying shared master data settings requires the Child Customers Write permission.
TIP
For more details on how shared master data works, including identifier formats and access rules, see Master Data — Shared Master Data.
